Agartala, July 16 -- Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Thursday described the CPI(M) headquarters located in Melarmath, Agartala, and its branch offices across the state as institutions of lies and falsehood.

Speaking to reporters after inaugurating a temple at Motorstand, Saha said, "This party is extremely skilled in spreading lies and manufacturing false and fabricated facts. I admit that they make good presentations. They feel that if they present lies in a sophisticated way, people will believe them."

The Chief Minister was reacting to a statement by a CITU leader claiming that labourers from Tripura had been going to Bangladesh to earn a livelihood due to a scarcity of work in the state.
