CJP founder, protesters gather at Delhi's Jantar Mantar after police permission

Guwahati: After arriving in Delhi ahead of the planned protest, Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the satirical online platform "Cockroach Janta Party", said he was looking forward to meeting supporters at Jantar Mantar. In a post on X, he wrote, "We have to lead this movement with love and peace!"
From Boston, Dipke had announced plans to return to India on June 6 to participate in a peaceful protest demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities.
Education reformer and climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has also said he would join the protest if the minister does not step down by June 5.
