Guwahati, July 25 -- The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Saturday announced the withdrawal of its indefinite protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, claiming that the Union government had accepted all of its key demands following discussions with federal ministers.

Addressing a press conference after the meeting, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said the government had agreed to the group's demands, including the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, compensation of Rs 1 crore for the families of those who allegedly died by suicide following the alleged examination paper leak, and assurance that no legal action would be taken against people who participated in the protests.
