Aizawl, April 24 -- Boys outperformed girls in the Mizoram Class 10 board examinations for the fifth consecutive year since 2022, according to results released on Thursday.
The examination results announced by the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) on Thursday showed that 80.31 per cent of the total 18,257 students who appeared for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination cleared the exam.
This marked a significant improvement over last year's overall pass rate of 76.68 per cent.
Of the 8,448 boys who appeared for the exam, 81.16 per cent passed. In comparison, girls recorded a pass rate of 79.59 per cent out of 9,809 candidates.
