Bordumsa: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday categorically dismissed rumours circulating on social media and certain digital platforms about a possible change of leadership in Arunachal Pradesh, reaffirming that Chief Minister Pema Khandu continues to enjoy the full confidence of the party leadership.

Addressing a late-night press briefing, BJP spokesperson Mohesh Chai said the issue was discussed between BJP National President Nitin Nabin and Arunachal Pradesh BJP President Kaling Tayang after reports claimed that Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein was likely to replace Pema Khandu as Chief Minister.
