Assamese film Rador Pakhi wins Jury Special Mention at Moscow festival
Guwahati, July 22 -- Assamese feature film Rador Pakhi (Morning Sunshine), directed by Bobby Sarma Baruah, has received the Jury Special Mention - Super Mama Award at the International Film Festival Made by Women in Moscow.
The film was officially selected in the Competition Section of the festival, held in the Russian capital from July 8 to 12, 2026. The award adds to the film's list of recognitions at national and international film festivals.
Directed by Bobby Sarma Baruah, Rador Pakhi (Morning Sunshine) is inspired by the life of writer Sarmistha Pritam. The film follows Jyoti, an aspiring writer from Assam who is diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy at a young age.
