India, March 26 -- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday, 25 March, made a series of major promises while campaigning for AGP candidate Dharmeswar Roy in Bajali, asserting that the region would witness significant development if the NDA returns to power.
Addressing a public rally at Barbang in Bajali, Sarma announced that the constituency would get a medical college. He said senior leader Ranjeet Kumar Dass had been entrusted with the responsibility of identifying around 100 bighas of land for the proposed project. He added that such development would not be possible without the BJP-AGP alliance.
