India, March 23 -- Sewli Brahma Mohilary on Sunday filed her nomination papers from the Kokrajhar Legislative Assembly constituency, accompanied by a large turnout of supporters in a show of political strength.

Mohilary, the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) candidate and wife of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Executive Member Hagrama Mohilary, submitted her papers at the office of the Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner.

Ahead of the filing, a procession was taken out through Kokrajhar town, drawing a sizeable gathering of party workers and supporters. The rally reflected heightened political activity in the constituency as the election campaign gathers pace.
