Dibrugarh, June 30 -- State Health Minister Ashok Singhal on Monday visited Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh and inspected the Super Speciality Block, Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Block, and the Casualty Ward.

He interacted with admitted patients to assess the quality of medical services, availability of medicines, cleanliness, and other facilities. He also chaired a high-level review meeting aimed at transforming the institution into one of the top 50 medical colleges in the country.
