India, March 7 -- The Assam government has taken a significant step to strengthen workplace safety and ensure a secure reporting mechanism for women employees. It introduced the Sexual Harassment Electronic Box (SHe-Box) across all departments of the state admnisnitration.

The initiative aims to provide a confidential platform for women to report harassment without fear of exposure or retaliation.

Once implemented, the SHe-Box will be available in every Assam government department. Women employees can submit complaints online, track the status of their grievances, and receive structured and transparent updates through the secure system.
