Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday announced the allocation of portfolios among members of the newly constituted Council of Ministers following approval from the Governor of Assam.

According to a notification issued by the Chief Minister's Office, Sarma will continue to hold several crucial departments, including Home & Political, Public Works Department (Buildings & National Highways), Public Works Department (Roads), Power, and Information, Public Relations, Printing & Stationery. He will also retain charge of any department not specifically assigned to other ministers.
