Guwahati, July 21 -- Four members of a family went missing after they were swept away by floodwaters in Assam's Charaideo district as sudden flooding inundated Lakuba Abhayapuriya village under Tengapukhuri Police Station on Sunday evening.

According to local residents, floodwaters entered the house of Rohini Dubara, forcing the family to leave their home and move to a nearby higher area. While crossing a road submerged by floodwaters, Rohini Dubara's wife, Tutumoni Dubara, and daughter, Bidisha Dubara, were swept away by the strong current.

After learning about the incident, Rohini Dubara's two sons, Bidyut Dubara and Biplab Dubara, entered the floodwaters in an attempt to rescue them. However, both were also swept away by the current....
