Doomdooma: In Tinsukia, Pulak Gohain is ahead in the Assam election; in Makum, Sanjay Kishan is leading; in Digboi, Suren Phukan has taken an early lead.

In Margherita, Bhaskar Sharma is ahead; in Doomdooma, Rupesh Gowala is leading.

In Sadiya, Bolin Chetia is in the lead.

Following these early trends, some supporters of the BJP were seen gathering in parts of Tinsukia.

Reports indicated distribution of sweets and other activities at certain locations.

The counting process is still ongoing, and the final results will be declared later.
