Guwahati, May 4 -- The Bodoland People's Front (BPF), an ally of the NDA, is set to secure a majority of the 15 Assembly constituencies in Assam's Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), leading in 10 seats according to Election Commission data. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the principal party in the ruling alliance aiming for a third consecutive term in the state, is ahead in three constituencies.
The United People's Party Liberal (UPPL), which previously governed the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) for one five-year term before being defeated by the BPF in 2025, is currently leading in just one seat. The Indian National Congress is also ahead in one constituency in the region.
