Assam Cabinet clears Rs 2,100 crore Aerotropolis project, Rs 450 crore for BTC
Guwahati, Aug. 12 -- A Rs 2,100-crore allocation for the Aerotropolis Satellite City Project in Guwahati was among the key decisions taken by the Assam Cabinet on Tuesday. The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, also cleared measures covering welfare, employment, infrastructure and administration.
The Cabinet cleared Rs 450 crore for the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) as the first instalment of its State-Owned Priority Development (SOPD-G) fund for 2026-27.
A provision of Rs 118.58 crore has been made for the Chief Minister's Jibon Prerana scheme during the 2026-27 financial year.
