Guwahati, July 8 -- Guwahati Mayor Mrigen Sarania on Wednesday inaugurated two newly constructed link roads in the Shanti Nagar area of Basistha, aiming to improve intra-locality connectivity and ease traffic movement for residents.

The new roads connect key residential pockets between Damsite and Model Village in the Latakata area under Basistha. Residents welcomed the projects, saying they are expected to reduce travel time and provide smoother access to nearby neighbourhoods.
