North Lakhimpur, Aug. 7 -- Two youths from Assam's Lakhimpur district have faced separate tragedies while travelling outside the state for employment, with one reported missing in Odisha and another dying under mysterious circumstances in Kerala.

Pradeep Gogoi, a resident of No. 4 Nimuri village under Narayanpur, reportedly went missing on August 6 while travelling to Bengaluru aboard the 22504 Down Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Superfast Express.

According to his family, Pradeep got off the train at Bhubaneswar railway station on the morning of August 6 but was unable to reboard when the train departed. Fellow passengers later contacted him and advised him to take a local train from Bhubaneswar at around 9 pm.
