Doomdooma, Nov. 2 -- Makum Co-District Commissioner Niluram Sharma inspected the M/S TTC Infra India hot-mix and infrastructure plant on A.T. Road in Assam's Tinsukia district on Saturday.

The inspection followed protests by local residents, school management committees and community organisations over alleged dust pollution, safety risks from incomplete construction work and the poor condition of roads in the area.

During the visit, Sharma held a meeting with local representatives, affected residents and senior TTC Infra India officials to discuss the complaints and possible measures to address them.
