Guwahati, Nov. 8 -- The death toll from the explosion and subsequent fire at Oil India Limited's (OIL) Intermediate Tank Farm (ITF) in Tengakhat, Dibrugarh district, has risen to four after another injured worker died at a private hospital in Dibrugarh.

The latest victim, Sailen Gogoi (45), a resident of Padumoni village in Tengakhat, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The incident occurred on November 6 when an explosion at the facility, reportedly in the crude oil storage area, triggered a major fire. Several workers sustained serious burn injuries in the blaze.

The deceased have been identified as Raju Dutta of Tengakhat, Tapas Gogoi (40) of Milan Nagar in Dibrugarh, Rupam Gogoi of Chabua and Sailen Gogoi of Padum...
