Guwahati, Sept. 29 -- The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Guwahati, has issued district-level weather warnings for six Assam districts, with Tinsukia, Dibrugarh and Sivasagar likely to experience isolated thunderstorms and lightning on September 29.

The warning is valid from 8.30 am on September 29 to 8.30 am on September 30, according to the latest RMC bulletin.

Tinsukia, Dibrugarh and Sivasagar have been placed under an alert for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning at isolated locations. The warning does not indicate that thunderstorms will occur across the entire districts simultaneously.

Charaideo has also been placed under a warning for isolated thunderstorms, lightning and heavy rainfall.
