Assam: Rs 72-crore railway overbridge inaugurated in Duliajan

Dibrugarh: Assam Minister Rameswar Teli on Sunday inaugurated Duliajan's first Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Madhabpur.
The 830-metre-long bridge, constructed at a cost of Rs 72 crore, is expected to improve connectivity along the Madhabpur-Tipling Road, a key route that often witnessed traffic delays due to rail movement.
Speaking at the inauguration, Teli said the project had been a long-standing demand of local residents. He stated that the Assam government contributed Rs 47 crore towards the project, while Indian Railways provided Rs 25 crore.
