Bajali, July 14 -- Roadside garbage accumulation has emerged as a growing concern in Pathsala, with residents blaming indiscriminate waste disposal and irregular garbage collection for the deteriorating sanitation conditions in the town.

Residents said heaps of waste have accumulated at several locations, attracting stray cows and dogs that are often seen feeding on plastic bags and other non-biodegradable waste. They warned that the situation poses risks to animal welfare, public health and the environment.
