Digboi, July 19 -- Bishu Limbu, a resident of a remote forest village in Assam's Tinsukia district, has secured 610 marks out of 720 in NEET-UG 2026, scoring 99.63 percentile and securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 7,320.

A resident of Rajnagar under Powai Forest Village in the Margherita Assembly Constituency, Bishu achieved the result despite challenges related to limited road connectivity, mobile network issues and financial difficulties.

A student of R.D. Senior Secondary School, Bishu also secured 97.21 percentile in JEE (Main) 2026 and finished 15th in the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026.
