Doomdooma, Oct. 14 -- Police are reconstructing the events leading to the death of 20-year-old Himashree Boro from Assam, whose body was found beside railway tracks in Andhra Pradesh on October 7.

According to Srikakulam Superintendent of Police K.V. Maheswara Reddy, a friend contacted railway helpline 139 after receiving a distress communication from Himashree.

Railway Protection Force personnel searched the train at Srikakulam Road station but could not find her.

The SP said the complaint did not clearly mention the coach details, making the search difficult. He said the next station after Vizianagaram was Amadalavalasa, where railway personnel also tried to locate her but failed.
