Pathsala, Sept. 26 -- Residents in Assam's Bajali have urged the authorities to prioritise the installation of CCTV cameras across Pathsala instead of focusing on large LED display screens, amid growing concerns over theft and public safety.

The demand comes in the wake of recent theft and robbery incidents in the town, which have renewed concerns over the need for stronger surveillance infrastructure.
