Dibrugarh, Sept. 26 -- The four-laning project connecting Assam's Numaligarh and Dibrugarh has progressed, with three of its five major road sections now 100 per cent complete, according to the latest status update from the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL).

The approximately 167.5-km Numaligarh-Dibrugarh corridor is divided into five major sections. As per the status as of September 25, the 39.7-km Numaligarh-Jorhat section has achieved 100 per cent completion, while the 37.8-km Jorhat-Jhanji section is at 97 per cent.
