Guwahati, Aug. 14 -- Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has revised train operations in the Lumding-Badarpur hill section following track settlement near New Harangajao Station, where restoration work is currently underway.

The railway tracks on both Line-1 and Line-2 have been affected by settlement. Train movement through the section is presently being handled through Line-3 under enhanced safety arrangements while repair and restoration activities continue.

As part of the latest changes, Train No. 15615 Guwahati-Silchar Express scheduled to leave on August 14 has been cancelled. Its corresponding service, Train No. 15616 Silchar-Guwahati Express, scheduled for August 15, has also been cancelled.
