Assam: Nameri joins CA|TS-approved tiger reserves with Kaziranga, Manas and Orang
Guwahati, Oct. 8 -- Nameri Tiger Reserve in Assam has secured Conservation Assured | Tiger Standards (CA|TS) Approved status, marking a major milestone in the state's tiger conservation and wildlife management efforts.
The recognition was granted on September 10, 2026, after Nameri successfully underwent the prescribed assessment process and received approval from the CA|TS International Executive Committee.
With Nameri attaining the status, all four tiger reserves in Assam-Kaziranga, Manas, Orang and Nameri are now CA|TS Approved.
