Doomdooma, Aug. 31 -- Police have intensified the investigation into the death of 26-year-old Chinmoy Jyoti Changmai in Assam's Tinsukia, with a woman and her mother arrested and a search launched for a third accused in connection with the case.

Changmai, a resident of Bordoloi Nagar, was found critically injured outside the JSB Spring Field residential complex in Tinsukia town around midnight on August 27.

He was initially taken to Tinsukia Civil Hospital and later shifted to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh, where he died while undergoing treatment.
