Guwahati, Aug. 2 -- Olympic bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain has raised objections after spotting an inaccurate map of India printed on paper napkins at a popular Indian restaurant in Glasgow, saying the country's Northeastern region had been left out of the depiction.

The incident came to light during the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2026 when members of the Indian boxing team visited Mister Singh's India-The Home of Curry after concluding their campaign at the Games. The restaurant reportedly served paper napkins featuring an outline map of India that omitted the Northeast.

Expressing her disappointment, the Assam boxer said every part of the country deserves equal recognition.
