Dibrugarh, Sept. 6 -- Serious allegations of illegal land grabbing and fraudulent land transfers have surfaced in Bogolijan area of North Lakhimpur district, where a family claims that 19 bighas, 3 katha and 3 lessa of ancestral property were allegedly taken over and sold with the purported involvement of revenue officials.

The family of Muhiuddin Ahmed has alleged that Abdul Subhan and Abdul Salam took possession of the land and subsequently transferred and sold portions of it to others through allegedly fraudulent means. The family has also accused officials of the revenue administration of facilitating the disputed transfers.
