Guwahati: Kaziranga National Park will officially conclude its 2025-26 tourism season on May 29, extending its earlier closure date by four days in response to a continued rise in tourist footfall.

Earlier, the park authorities had planned to close the UNESCO World Heritage site for visitors from May 25 ahead of the monsoon season. However, following persistent demand from tourists and stakeholders in the tourism sector, the park management revised its decision and decided to keep the park open until May 29.
