Bajali, April 18 -- Allegations of large-scale illegal clay mining have surfaced from the Doloigaon area in Assam's Bajali district, where the banks of the Pahumara River are reportedly being exploited without proper authorization.
Local sources claim that multiple operators are extracting ordinary clay from the riverbed without securing mandatory environmental clearances.
