Guwahati, April 28 -- The investigation into the fatal road accident ar Mathgharia in Guwahati, which claimed the lives of three young women, has revealed key details about the events leading up to the crash.

Guwahati Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Jayanta Sarathi Bora while sharing the findings on Tuesday said that the injured victims were immediately rushed to Gate Hospital after the accident.

"However, the driver was missing from the scene, and the vehicle's driver-side door was found open, raising initial concerns. Police later identified the accused driver as Shamim Ahmed," DCP Bora said.
