Guwahati, May 10 -- Fresh incidents of human-elephant conflict have created panic in Tatibama Nirulpur area under Palashbari constituency in Assam, after a herd of wild elephants entered the village on saturday night and damaged several houses.

According to local residents, multiple homes were either partially damaged or completely destroyed in the incident. Houses belonging to Sarbeswar Kalita, Madhab Kalita, Bharatiya Kalita, and Mukut Kalita were among those affected, resulting in significant property loss.
