Guwahati, April 25 -- A 27-year-old woman from Guwahati who was reported missing on Friday, April 24, has been found safe in Shillong, her family confirmed through social media.

The woman, named Bhabana Sarma, was found inside a room at a State Bank of India branch near Polo Ground in Shillong. She was seen in a disturbed condition when bank staff arrived in the morning, following which police were informed.

Once her location was confirmed, her family, along with police officials, travelled to Shillong to take her back.
