Guwahati, Nov. 2 -- Ghanakanta Gogoi, the accused in the October 26 shooting at Hotel Bilas Inn in Guwahati's Ulubari area, was taken to the hotel on Monday morning for crime scene recreation as part of the ongoing investigation.

The shooting occurred at around 9 pm near Bora Service on GS Road, leaving five people dead and one injured.

The deceased were identified as Helena Bharali, her son Debarshi Ishan Kashyap, his wife Rinika, Helena's brother Bhudev Bharali and Narayan Das, who was reportedly Bhudev's caretaker. Satyendra Pathak, the driver, sustained injuries and was admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment.
