Guwahati, Sept. 11 -- Gorillaz will perform in Guwahati on January 31, 2027, adding Assam to the itinerary for the virtual band's first India tour.

The venue, also known as the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, will host the third show of the India tour after performances scheduled in Bengaluru and Mumbai.

District, the producer and exclusive ticketing partner for The Mountain Tour, announced the Guwahati date in association with Assam Tourism.

The addition of Guwahati gives the India tour a direct connection with The Mountain, Gorillaz's ninth studio album. India has influenced the album through both its musical collaborations and inspirations, with the tour now bringing the album's India-related journey to the Northeast.
