Assam: Gold chains worth Rs 12 lakh snatched outside Dibrugarh DC office

Dibrugarh: In a daylight robbery, miscreants snatched gold chains worth approximately Rs 12 lakh from a man at the entrance of the District Commissioner's Office in Assam's Dibrugarh, one of the district's most sensitive and secure locations.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon in the presence of security personnel and amid regular public movement, raising concerns about security arrangements in the area.
According to reports, the victim has been identified as Hrishikesh Goswami, a resident of Madarkhat in Lahowal.
