Guwahati, July 22 -- Girijananda Chowdhury University (GCU), Azara, hosted four Inter Directorate Service Shooting Championship (IDSSC) Firing Practice-cum-Combined Annual Training Camps organised by the 7 Assam Battalion NCC from June 5 to July 21.

The camps witnessed the participation of around 400 NCC cadets in each camp from various NCC units under the Guwahati Group. The training was aimed at enhancing the cadets' shooting skills ahead of the Inter Directorate Service Shooting Championship (IDSSC) 2026 while providing comprehensive military and personality development training under the Combined Annual Training Camp curriculum.
