Guwahati: Four school girls in Guwahati's Basistha area have reportedly gone missing, triggering concern among residents and authorities alike. Police have launched an investigation after their families reported that the girls failed to return home after school hours.
According to reports, the girls, all students of Beltola Majhipara Middle English School, left their homes in Beharbari on the morning of June 1 to attend classes. Their departure appeared routine, with the students reportedly heading to school at around 8 am.
Alarm bells rang when the girls did not return home by the evening. As concern mounted, family members began looking for them but were unable to trace their whereabouts.
