Assam: Five tea garden workers injured in ambulance-Bolero collision in Tinsukia

Doomdooma: Five tea garden workers were injured, two of them critically, after a Mahindra Bolero allegedly collided head-on with an ambulance at the Samdang Bypass in Assam's Tinsukia district on Friday afternoon.
According to eyewitness accounts and sources, the ambulance (AS-01-RC-5579) was carrying five patients from Khowang Tea Estate to Tinsukia Medical College and Hospital (TMCH) when it was hit by a speeding Mahindra Bolero (AS-01-DG-2445) coming from the Digboi side.
The injured have been identified as Dhaneshwar Nayak of Talap Tea Estate, Binod Prasad and Sunil Nayak of Khowang Tea Estate, Somari Nayak of Talap Laina Tea Estate, and Babul Kisan of Anand Tea Estate.
