Digboi, Aug. 31 -- The exclusion of Makum MLA Sanjay Kishan from the newly constituted Governing Body of the Hospital Management Society (HMS) of Tinsukia Medical College and Hospital (TMC&H) has raised questions in Tinsukia district, as legislators from five other Assembly constituencies have been included in the 22-member body.

TMC&H is located in Makum, the constituency represented by Kishan.

According to a notification issued by the Medical Education & Research Department, Government of Assam, under the orders of the Governor, the HMS Governing Body has been constituted under the administrative jurisdiction of Tinsukia district.
