Assam: Eviction begins for Greater Haflong water supply project under AMRUT 2.0
Haflong, July 17 -- The implementation of the Mission Greater Haflong Water Supply Scheme under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0 has entered the execution stage with the commencement of eviction at a partially encroached government plot identified for the construction of a key water reservoir.
The land, belonging to the Soil Conservation Department at Lodi village in Haflong, has been earmarked for a major reservoir that forms a critical component of the drinking water project.
