Doomdooma, Oct. 31 -- The Doomdooma Sports Association has sought Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's intervention and financial support for the comprehensive development and modernisation of the historic Doomdooma Town Field, submitting a detailed representation during his recent two-day visit to Tinsukia district.

In the representation dated October 29, and addressed to the Chief Minister at Dispur, the association called for urgent measures to upgrade the existing infrastructure and transform the ground into a better-equipped sporting facility to meet the growing needs of local players and sports enthusiasts.
