Dibrugarh, July 30 -- In a humanitarian initiative for flood-hit communities, the Irrigation Department's Dibrugarh Circle on Wednesday organised a relief mission to distribute essential supplies to families affected by the floods in Assam's Sivasagar district.

The relief drive was supported by contributions from the Assam Engineering Service Association (AESA) and employees of various Irrigation Circles across the state. The mission was led by Ramen Chetia and Rituporno Borgohain under the supervision of the Executive Engineers of the Dibrugarh-Chabua-Lahowal Division and the Naharkatia-Duliajan Division.
