Guwahati: The Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) has approved two key policy decisions aimed at strengthening the rural economy and resolving long-pending land tenure issues across the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

After an Executive Council meeting held at the BTC headquarters in Kokrajhar on June 4, BTC Executive Member Maheswar Basumatary informed reporters that the council has cleared plans to revitalise traditional cattle markets while also setting up new trading hubs across the region.
