Guwahati, July 11 -- B. Borooah College (Autonomous) will introduce the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) from the 2026-27 academic session.

The programme will be offered in collaboration with Government Banikanta College of Teacher Education and will allow students to earn both an undergraduate degree and a teacher education qualification through a single integrated course.

Under the programme, students can enrol in either the B.A. B.Ed. or B.Sc. B.Ed. course. The four-year structure enables students to complete both qualifications simultaneously, reducing the duration compared with pursuing the degrees separately.
