Assam: APCC report alleges illegal mining continues despite Supreme Court, NGT and HC interventions
Guwahati, Aug. 1 -- Illegal sand and coal mining continues across several districts of Assam despite repeated interventions by the Supreme Court, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and the Gauhati High Court, according to a report released by Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) spokesperson Reetam Singh on July 31.
