Dibrugarh: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) on Friday staged a protest in Dibrugarh against the continuous rise in the prices of petrol, diesel, and essential commodities, holding the ruling BJP government responsible for the growing burden on the common people.

Hundreds of AASU members and supporters participated in the agitation, raising slogans against the government and expressing concern over the escalating cost of living.

The protesters alleged that the unprecedented price hike in fuel and daily necessities has severely affected middle- and low-income families across the state.
